Ten things I should remember when I teach

This list was not created by me.  I cut and paste from somewhere on the Internet.

So the words aren't mine.  But they are true.  I have them on my desk every day, but I too often ignore them.

1) Be Humble 

2) Be Patient 

3) Be Kind and show respect 

4) Have enthusiasm for the teaching material 

5) Show not Tell 

6) Learn from the students 

7) Be positive and smile 

8) Engage the students 

9) Have high expectations 

10) Provide a warm environment and allow the students to make mistakes.
